Core dimensions of this radiator are approximately 20 1/4" tall and 22" wide. It has 3 rows of 1/2" tubes on 9/16" centers. It will fit a 1953 with a later V-8 engine as well as other 54 to 56 with the Y-Block V-8. It will fit the same as and fuction better than the original radiator that it replaces. It is available in several core designs such as two, three or four rows of tubes on either 9/16" or 7/16" centers. All US Radiators can be ordered with a fan shroud, electric cooling fan, thermostatic fan control and even an A/C condenser. The top tank of the radiator can be polished to show off the vintage brass look. An internal automatic transmission cooler is built into the bottom tank.

  Even the largest radiator cannot cool properly without good airflow. Consider replacing your stock 4 or 5 blade fan with a 6 or 7 blade fan for maximum cooling.
   This radiator is also available with the hose connections in other positions to fit other engines such as with the lower hose on the passenger side for a Ford 6 cylinder or GM engine installation.
