Griffin Aluminum radiators are made to bolt in exactly as a factory replacement radiator would. Core dimensions of this radiator are approximately 22 1/2" between the tanks and 17 1/2" tall. An internal automatic transmission cooler is built into this radiator. This radiator has two rows of 1 1/4 inch tubes which greatly exceeds the cooling capacity of lesser quality imports with 3 rows of 1/2" tubes. All Griffin radiators can be ordered with an aluminum fan shroud, electric cooling fan, thermostatic fan control. The radiator can be polished as well as the optional fan shroud. This particular radiator can be ordered in a variety of configurations to suit your cooling needs and your budget. All Griffin street radiators come with a 2 year guarantee against manufacturers defects. These measurements may vary slightly from the original that it replaces. It will fit the same as and function better than the original. Even the largest radiator cannot cool properly without good airflow. Consider replacing your stock 4 blade fan with a six or seven blade fan for optimum cooling.
Since 1981, Griffin Thermal Products has focused on manufacturing the very best high-performance aluminum heat exchangers in the industry. Team GRIFFIN and Classic Radiator understand that a quality cooling system is critical to the consistent and reliable performance of your engine.
Whatever you need – for Street Rod, Classic, Muscle Car, Exotic, Circle Track or Drag – Griffin can build it to your vehicles exact specifications or requirements. Griffin is the only manufacturer that maintains templates of virtually every car and truck make and model. Your Griffin radiator is truly a performance radiator, not an adaptation of an OEM product. In most cases it is a direct fit, bolt-in replacement that is made to fit your vehicle.
GRIFFIN is a true manufacturer of performance aluminum radiators. Some other companies purchase cores from a core manufacturer and then build the rest themselves. They are often limited in core design and dimensions to whatever they can purchase. GRIFFIN manufactures their own tubes, fins, headers, side channels, mounting brackets and tanks. By controlling every step of the manufacturing process for each component they produce a radiator that is designed from drawing to finished product to fit your exact application. A GRIFFIN is more than some off-the-shelf, one-size-fits-all, cookie cutter product.
Griffin Radiators are 100% Made in the USA!!!!!
There are less expensive aluminum radiators on the market. But remember, you get what you pay for.
Don’t let other manufacturers fool you by stating they build a 3 or 4 row aluminum radiator. Ask what size the tubes are. Even 4 rows of half inch tubes do not cool as well as two rows of 1 ¼” tubes.
